Cavendish Knight operates a GDPR-first, direct-to-consumer property marketplace covering England and Wales. Sellers pay a one-off listing fee rather than a percentage commission, saving an average of £6,200 per transaction based on a 2% agent fee on the median UK house price of £310,000.
The platform offers three verification tiers — Basic, Enhanced and Premium — the highest of which includes a full HM Land Registry title check, identity verification and address confirmation. Over 74% of active listings carry Enhanced or Premium verification.
Cavendish Knight completed a seed round in Q3 2024 with participation from two UK-based proptech-focused venture funds. The company is not disclosing the total raise at this time but has confirmed the funding covers 24 months of runway and is being used to accelerate partner network growth and product development.
